Personal Data Protection Act - PDPA
In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Employment Agencies (EA) must collect candidate details and obtain their consent before presenting their profiles for employment opportunities. This information encompasses the complete IC number, serving the purpose of documenting EA's operations for MOM. For individuals who have no prior experience working or residing in Singapore, the necessity is for their passport number.
This modification became effective starting from October 1, 2020:
I hereby grant my consent and agreement to the following:
A. CHAPTR Consulting, along with its local and international affiliates, collectively known as CHAPTR Consulting, has my permission to gather, use, disclose, and process the personal information detailed in this consent form, my completed application/registration form for CHAPTR Consulting, and any other information provided by me or in CHAPTR Consulting's possession. This data will be used for the purpose of representing me for potential job opportunities with CHAPTR Consulting's clients, as well as for other purposes outlined in CHAPTR Consulting's privacy policy.
B. While most of my personal data will be utilized and processed within Singapore, there may be occasions when CHAPTR Consulting finds it necessary to transmit or export my personal information to other countries where CHAPTR Consulting conducts business, or to its affiliates or trusted third-party partners.
C. CHAPTR Consulting may employ suitable security measures to use or store my personal data for an extended period.
D. CHAPTR Consulting will take reasonable measures under the circumstances to safeguard the personal data it holds from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. When CHAPTR Consulting determines that the personal data is no longer required, any information that could identify me will be removed, or the records will be securely destroyed.
E. My rights regarding my personal data held by CHAPTR Consulting and the procedures for exercising those rights are outlined in CHAPTR Consulting's privacy policy. Should I have any inquiries or concerns related to my personal data held by CHAPTR Consulting, I can contact CHAPTR Consulting's data protection officer.
By signing and submitting the form below, I confirm that the information provided in this consent form and any completed registration form for CHAPTR Consulting is accurate, complete, and true. I consent to CHAPTR Consulting retaining and processing my personal data until I request CHAPTR Consulting to update or delete the data from CHAPTR Consulting's database. Furthermore, I affirm that I have comprehended all the provisions mentioned above, including CHAPTR Consulting's privacy policy.
